Vit Kohoutek: Our Brave Owner
A proud Czech, Vit grew up on a large European farm. From early childhood, he has been working with trees both within his family’s orchard and the neighboring forest. From a young age, Vit developed a love for climbing trees, rocks, and ice. The love of mountaineering brought him to the Rocky Mountains’ Front Range where he began landscaping. Discovering his niche in tree care, Vit was employed by the city of Boulder for a number of years in the forestry department. During this period Vit became a certified arborist and a Certified Tree Worker Aerial Lift Specialist with The International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) and is now an active member of the society. In 2010, Vit struck out on his own as an arborist and tree care specialist working for corporate, government, and individual clients on the Front Range.
